The Netherlands is in for a run of summery weather, with temperatures climbing towards the weekend before showers arrive on Sunday, weather service Weeronline said.
Thursday will bring clouds with the odd light shower, though most places will stay dry, and the clouds should break up in the afternoon to give some sunshine. Maximum temperatures will be between 18° and 24°.
Saturday will be the warmest day, staying dry for much of the time with sunny spells. A moderate west to northwesterly wind will keep the coast cooler, at 20° to 24°, while inland reaches 25° to 28° and the southeast up to 29°. There is a chance of a shower on the northern coast in the afternoon and evening.
Showers are expected more widely on Sunday, mainly in the afternoon, with temperatures back to between 20° and 24°. Next week brings a mix of showers and dry, sunny spells, with Monday between 19° and 24°.
