After a stormy night and winds which brought down several trees, Monday will be a changeable day, with sunny spells interspersed with showers, some heavy at times.
Tuesday will be similar, with a chilly start to the day, but localised storms will move into central, eastern and southern parts of the country later in the day, according to weather bureau Weeronline. The temperature will hover around 11°, which is normal for the time of year.
Wednesday and Thursday will be dry, with plenty of sunshine, but there may be some low cloud or mist in the north west. The temperature will rise to around 13°, but it may feel warmer in the sun.
The Easter weekend will also have sunny spells and some showers, and the temperature will rise to around 15° as the wind moves to southwesterly.
According to the KNMI long-range forecast, the changeable weather will continue well into April, but temperatures will be a little higher than average for the time of year.
