Person wounded in Gouda shooting; Suspect flees
A person was shot and wounded in the early hours of Sunday on the Cipresweg in Gouda, and the suspect remains at large as police continue a search.
Police received a report of the shooting at about 3:25 a.m. Emergency responders found an injured person in the street and transported the victim to a hospital for urgent treatment.
Officers cordoned off a large area around the Cipresweg and launched an investigation. A fatbike was found lying in the grass next to the scene of the incident.
The suspect fled, and police are actively searching for the individual. Authorities are urging witnesses and anyone with camera footage to come forward.
