One man was injured during a Rotterdam shooting Monday evening in which several shots were fired and one bullet hit a city bus.
The shooting took place around 7pm on Rotterdam’s Oranjeboomstraat in the city’s Feijenoord district.
The injured man was taken to the hospital, while a suspect was arrested after being tasered by the police.
They say his role in the shooting is still being investigated and have appealed to the public to come forward with any camera footage. Police found multiple shell casings on the scene.
Some ten people were on board, including the driver, when the bus when it was hit, leaving all of them uninjured but shaken.
The bullet entered through one window and exited through a window opposite. The incident marks at least the third shooting in Rotterdam this month.
