One person has died and six others have been seriously injured in a head-on collision between a minibus and a lorry in Overijssel.
The crash happened on the N48 near Balkbrug, around 20km east of Zwolle, at around 11.30am on Thursday. All the victims were sitting in the minibus, which had Belgian numberplates.
Fire appliances, ambulances and an air ambulance were called to the crash site. Six passengers were taken to different hospitals in the area, while the seventh was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was unharmed.
The road is likely to be closed for several hours while police carry out investigations and the road is cleared of debris.
