A motorist drove a stolen car into a police vehicle on Liessentstraat in Uden on Saturday, injuring an officer. According to Omroep Brabant, the officer was taken to a hospital.

Officers had earlier spotted the stolen car towing a caravan on the N264 ring road near Volkel. The driver refused to stop, and one of the occupants managed to detach the caravan. The car then sped toward Uden.

On Liessentstraat, the driver struck the police car. The officer was hurt, and the patrol vehicle was heavily damaged. The officer was then taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The stolen car was recovered a short time later on Walravenstraat in Uden. Police are still searching for the occupants and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
